


The MCT Series is a modular multi-stage mixing–clarification extraction system for continuous liquid–liquid extraction, washing and stripping. Each stage combines an agitated mixing zone with a dedicated settling compartment, enabling efficient mass transfer and high phase-separation performance in a compact footprint. MCT tanks are widely used in hydrometallurgy, rare-earth extraction, fermentation broth processing and environmental applications where stable phase disengagement and low solvent loss are critical.

Each stage consists of a mixing zone and a clarification (settling) zone:
Two immiscible phases (organic/aqueous) enter the mixing zone at a controlled ratio and are gently but efficiently mixed to complete mass transfer.
The dispersion flows into the clarification zone where turbulence is minimized; phases disengage by density difference and overflow through weirs.
Multi-stage connection enables counter-current extraction, counter-current washing, or stripping/back-extraction depending on your flowsheet.
